We want you to be satisfied with your screensavers and digital photo shows, so it is important that your computer have the ability to  properly display the files.  

Older systems may not have the processing speed or 3-d graphic cards needed to correctly run 3-d animations, so please check your system’s properties  prior to placing an order.

Minimum System Requirements needed to properly display the digital photo presentations, screensavers and video files are:

1. 256 MB RAM with Windows 98SE or NT 4.0+, or
2. 256 MB RAM with Windows 2000 or XP;
3. an 800 MHz or higher PC;
4. a 3D graphic accelerator with 16 MB RAM;
5. 400 MB free hard disk space; and
6. a CD-ROM or DVD drive.

 

Not sure if your computer system meets the minimum requirements?  Here’s how to check

Right click on the My Computer icon - usually found on the desktop.

 

From the menu that pops-up, select “Properties”  - by clicking your left mouse button.

The system properties dialogue box will open and it will give you information on

• The Version of Windows on your computer
• The type and speed of the processor your computer is equipped with
• The RAM

 

In the example on the left, the computer this information came from is running Windows XP - with service pack 2.  It has an AMD Athlon processor and a processing speed well over the 800 Mhz needed to run 3D applications.

Plus, it has a minimum of 512 MB of RAM - double that needed for the 3D applications.
